A while ago I visited the mansion Villa Hügel in Essen, Germany, and I was on the hunt for a few beatiful motifs for my lense. The mansion and its gardens are very lovely everything is so… perfect. The mansion feels a little bit empty in its perfection, but you can still sense its history. However, it was the more special a moment when I found this luster.

It is just reassuring to know that even an old house, that is maintained so lovingly (and expensively), has to fight the same problems as we do. No matter if it’s a broken bulb, having a loose slate or not having all your marbles; we are all a little bit loca and it is a good thing, too. So let’s celebrate not being perfect.
