Chocolate plait

I always roam the web for new recipes and I stumbled across a video about a pastry, that is easy and quick to make and also needs only few ingredients. Naturally, I tested the whole thing for you ;)

Ingredients:

1 pack of flaky dough (as for croissants)
1-2 chocolate bars
1 eggs
1 handfull of almond chips or something comparable

Gently roll out the dough and place the chocolate in the middle of it. Cut off what is too much – you only need enough to lay it across the chocolate from both sides. Cut in the dough at both sides, so that you can criss cross the loose strap over the chocolate. Fix the ends by pressing down and cut off the rest.
Brush the pastry with the beaten egg and sprinkle the almonds or nuts over it. Done!

Bake in the preheated oven at 390°F for about 20-25°Minutes. Et voilà!
